How do I add a movie or TV show to my watchlist?
Use the search bar on the home page to find any title, then click "Add to Watchlist". You can set a watch status (Watching, Completed, Plan to Watch, etc.) and add a rating or review.
How do I follow friends?
Search for your friend's username using the search feature, visit their profile, and tap the Follow button. Their activity will appear in your feed.
What are groups?
Groups are private spaces where you can chat, share watchlists, and see what your group members are watching. You can invite friends by username or email.
How do push notifications work?
When someone likes your post, follows you, comments, or sends a message in a group you're in, you'll receive a push notification on your mobile device. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings at any time.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile, posts, watchlists, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
Is What I Am Watching free?
Yes, the Service is completely free to use with no subscription required.
How do I report inappropriate content?
You can report any post by tapping the three-dot menu on the post and selecting "Report". Our moderation team reviews all reports.
Where does the movie and TV show data come from?
Content metadata is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). If you notice incorrect information about a title, you can help by contributing to TMDB directly at themoviedb.org.

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app. Alternatively, email us at support@whatiamwatching.app with the subject line "Delete my account" and we will process the request within 7 days.
